Edenthorpe War Memorials


Members of The Edenthorpe War Memorial Committee have worked tirelessly to raise £6,000 for the memorial, the footings for which are now in place.

The memorial will feature the names of six service personnel, all from the village, who were killed during the Second World War from 1939 to 1945.

It will be the first new memorial in the borough ?for 25 years and David Milnes, vice chair of the committee, said: “It’s such a fantastic achievement after two years of fundraising.

The memorials was supplied and Fitted by Lidsters of Worksop in time for the Rememberance parade on November 11th 2015.
